I knew Otis as a hairstylist whom I'd been to a couple of times so I had an eyewitness account of him "before and after." He became a new creation both inwardly and outwardly, whose former self was hard to believe after seeing him post-resurrection at church. I ran into Evangelist Boyd once during a church service. I had heard she was "stern" so I was almost afraid to approach her, but she smiled at me with one of the kindest smiles I had ever seen. Whatever Mildred Boyd was or wasn't, she was a praying, faith-filled woman of God who believed wholeheartedly in God's Word. I've heard so many stories about Mother Boyd. I was excited when I found a book the combine several testimonies about how God used her. Every believer should get a copy.. When you're feeling like your back is against the wall in a situation, these stories will inspire you to believe.
I loved reading about the faith that Mother Boyd had in people getting their miracles through her prayers. She never doubted, but knew that with God all is possible regardless of the situation. What a wonderful legacy she left behind.
